Abstract

|
|
Clinical practice guidelines can enhance clinician and patient decision making by clearly describing and appraising the scientific evidence and reasoning behind clinical recommendations. In South Korea, the development of clinical guidelines has been becoming more common,but the quality of the CPG development process and outcomes are unreliable and often unsatisfactory. To ensure the development and adoption of trustworthy clinical guidelines, health policy makers should establish asystem to support the development process and dissemination of CPGs.
